Our master bridal make-up artist Sarah Chan will share information on how to prepare your skin and hair for your big day.
A few days before the makeup trial, or your wedding day, we suggest the bride to use a facial mask at night to keep skin moisturized. This helps to keep your make-up in place and smooth the day of the wedding. Please make sure that you arrive with cleansed and toned skin (no make-up), and a light moisturizer on the day of your appointment.
Arrive with clean and dry hair. Do not use any styling products such as gel, oils, and hairsprays.
We highly recommend that all brides schedule a trial session, so on your wedding day you will have a preview of your bridal look.
We suggest wearing white clothes/ or light color dress on the day of the makeup trial, so that you can see the effects of the makeup and hair styling. Please avoid wearing sports outfits.
Before your makeup trial, you can find some pictures of your favorite bridal makeup and hair style, so that we will have a better idea to discuss your bridal look. If you have already found a wedding dress, please provide pictures to Sarah. If you don’t know your preferences, Sarah will provide recommendations that are suitable for your style and your character. We will discuss together, and create a perfect bridal look for you!
